Total Hip Arthroplasty

A total hip replacement is a surgical procedure whereby the diseased cartilage and bone of the hipjoint is surgically replaced with artificial materials.
Hip replacement surgery can be performed as a total replacement or a hemi (half) replacement.

Knee Replacement

Knee replacement surgery — also known as knee arthroplasty (ARTH-row-plas-tee) — can help relieve pain and restore function in severely diseased knee joints
It is most commonly performed for osteoarthritis, and also for other knee diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis.

Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) / Heart Bypass

Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is a type of surgery that improves blood flow to the heart. It’s used for people who have severe coronary heart disease (CHD), also called coronary artery disease.
Heart bypass surgery, or coronary artery bypass surgery, is used to replace damaged arteries that supply blood to the heart muscle.
The aim of coronary bypass surgery is to bypass – or ‘get around’ – the narrowed sections of your coronary arteries.

Liver Transplant

A liver transplant is a surgical procedure that removes a liver that no longer functions properly (liver failure) and replaces it with a healthy liver from a living or deceased donor
Liver transplantation is a treatment option for end-stage liver disease and acute liver failure, although availability of donor organs is a major limitation.

Kidney Transplant

When your kidneys fail, treatment is needed to replace the work your own kidneys can no longer do. There are two types of treatment for kidney failure — dialysis or transplant.
A kidney transplant is the transfer of a healthy kidney from one person into the body of a person who has little or no kidney function. The main role of the kidneys is to filter waste products from the blood and convert them to urine.

Heart Transplant

A heart transplant, or a cardiac transplant, is a surgical transplant procedure performed on patients with end-stage heart failure or severe coronary artery disease when other medical or surgical treatmen ts have failed.

Oncology

The term oncology literally means a branch of science that deals with tumours and cancers.
It is a branch of medicine that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. It includes medical oncology (the use of chemotherapy, hormone therapy, and other drugs to treat cancer), radiation oncology (the use of radiation therapy to treat cancer), and surgical oncology (the use of surgery and other procedures to treat cancer).

Bariatric Surgery

Most weight loss surgeries today are performed using minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopicsurgery). The most common bariatric surgery procedures are gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, adjustable gastric band, and biliopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch.

In vitro fertilisation (IVF), IVF is the process of fertilization by extracting eggs, retrieving a sperm sample, and then manually combining an egg and sperm in a laboratory dish.
